Born and raised on Maui, my life has been centered around the vast beauty and rich culture that is present throughout the islands.
My passion for knowledge, exploration and sharing experiences with the people I meet, are the motivating factors that have helped to produce positive professional relationships and memorable experiences. I am most passionate about my family and enjoy spending our days hiking through the mountains, riding waves in the ocean, or snuggling up to a good movie. With over 10 years in the hospitality industry, I bring experience and a tenacity to excel and improve. Growing up in a multicultural background in major cities around the world, travel has always been a huge part of my lifestyle. Fun fact: I have triple citizenship! My design background (BFA Communication Design from Parsons the New School of Design) enables me to approach the travel industry from a different perspective, creating endless, unique experiences.

Born and raised in Hawai‘i, I have a growing passion for finding the undiscovered adventures and experiences my home has to offer. After returning to Hawai‘i from the Cornell School of Hotel Administration, I have come to understand the privilege it has been to call paradise my home, and how fortunate I am to have the opportunity to show you our Hawai‘i. With a young, open mind and willingness to venture out, I have found a love for unearthing the hidden treasures of Hawai‘i and finding unique experiences.

After spending many years as a frequent visitor to the islands, I left the hustle and bustle of New York City and decided to make Maui my permanent home. As an avid snorkeler, SCUBA diver, and hiker, I can never get enough of what this beautiful island has to offer me every day. And nothing makes me happier than sharing my knowledge and love for the islands with everyone I meet.

Passionate about travel, I’ve spent 20+ years in the incentive & hospitality industry traveling the world for both work and adventure. In 2011, a love of astronomy, the ocean and the Hawaiian Culture guided me to my new home on the Big Island of Hawai‘i. I use my practical experience in planning, design and onsite program operations, to assist our clients in creating unique experiences customized to their specific goals and objectives.

I am passionate about coaching youth football and basketball, my community church, and family events. Prior to joining IPH, I was a sales manager at Hilo Hattie, a tour manager at American Express, a tour guide & dispatcher at E Noa Tours and an apprentice archeologist at Waimea Falls Park.
Leona Balthazar Vice President of Sales
I am a 5th generation resident of Hawai‘i and am one of the co-founder of Island Partners Hawai‘i. I have had extensive experience in the destination management industry as a travel agent, Onsite Travel Director, Account Executive, Sales Manager, and Director of Sales. Animals are my passion, and I enjoy spending my time off with Ms. Kula (my yellow lab) and Ms. Lily (my Maltese).

I believe in giving back to the community, especially to those that are less fortunate. I support the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Hawai‘i Food Bank, and Make A Wish Foundation. Prior to joining IPH, I worked at an animal hospital before deciding to join the travel industry and am loving the wonderful world of destination management services.

Airlines, Transportation, Customer Service and Business Management are a few things that Raysha’s has specialized in. She has recently graduated from UHM with her BA in Interdisciplinary Studies in Human Relations and an AA in Hawaiian Studies from UHMC.
Traveling, meeting new people, going on foodie adventures, and making memories, are some things that Raysha’s enjoys doing on her free time. She also enjoys reading daily affirmation from Louise Hay, daily readings from “The Secret” and the philosophy of “The Law of Attraction.”

Teresa Nae‘ole Events Coordinator
Born and raised in the UK, I came to the United States at 21 to visit my dad. During that time I met and married my husband, and we soon moved back to his home of Maui to raise our children immersed in the culture of Hawai’i. Maui has been my home ever since, and I love it! My previous travel industry experience was with MC&A, Inc. for 12 years, as administrative support to the sales team. I am thrilled to be coming back to the fast paced, multi-tasking environment of event planning. During my free time I enjoy daily exercise, going to the beach and taking in the beauty of Maui on a new hike or driving adventure with friends.
