These Hawaiian values, as all others, are based on a number of defining principles and foundational beliefs, which are unwavering and finite. They emphasize the inherent goodness of man, and the purpose and responsibility of man to make the correct choices. For whatever we do in life, it ultimately comes down to choices.

HO‘OKIPA
Ho‘okipa is both a value and an attitude. It’s an ACCEPTANCE of hospitality and a WILLINGNESS to be of service. Being hospitable means to understand and be gracious, considerate, and kind. A large part of the Ho‘okipa concept and value is SHARING – information, anecdotes, stories – making our guests feel comfortable and at ease – treating them as our family.
